On April 4, 2012 more than a dozen tornadoes ripped through Dallas, causing widespread damage throughout the area. As a journalism student at Southern Methodist University, I stood outside watching as the storms began to touchdown around us. While most of the campus took shelter in basements and safety zones, I reported live from the scene with my fellow journalism colleagues. Please take a moment to watch the videos below.
